Annually, TIBA organizes formal and professional visit to its counterparts in Asia Pacific region. Several MOUs have been signed with oversea IB/GB societies or organizations such as China All-safe company, Smart City Society of Shenzhen, Hong Kong Asian Institute of Intelligent Buildings, Intelligent Building Society of Korea, KASH and Singapore Green Building Council etc.

Workshops and lectures are offered to the TIBA members from time to time by inviting experts from domestic and oversea to share the experience and expertise on intelligent green building.

In 2014, TIBA organized the kick-off conference of Asia-Pacific Intelligent Green Building Alliance(APIGBA) in Taipei. Founding members of APIGBA includes SIBCA of Shanghai, IBS of Korea, AIIB of Hong Kong and AIIB-SC of Singapore, SGBC of Singapore, and TIBA of Taiwan. A conference will be held every two years in different countries or regions of APIGBA member.
